Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 who show off, 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
