۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
