O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and wives of the believers that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public], so as to be recognized and not harmed. God is most forgiving and most merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while. 60 Accursed; wherever found they shall be laid hold of and slain with a relentless slaughter. 61 The tradition of Allah prevalent among those who passed away before; and you will never find the traditions of Allah changing. 62 People ask you regarding the Last Day; proclaim, “Its knowledge is only with Allah; and what do you know, the Last Day may really be near!” 63 God has rejected those who deny the truth and prepared for them a blazing Fire. 64 wherein they will live forever without being able to find any guardian or helper. 65 On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His messenger! 66 And they shall say: 'Our Lord, We obeyed our masters and our eminent ones, but they misled us from the way. 67 Lord, make them to suffer double torment and subject them to the greatest condemnation." 68
