The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
