The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
