And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
