۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 in a hidden Book 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 and that hour you are watching 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
