The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 On a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
