1/2 Hizb 7

O you who have believed, do not consume usury, doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 guard yourself against the Fire prepared for those who deny the truth, 131 And obey Allah and the Noble Messenger, hoping that you gain mercy. (Obeying the Prophet is in fact obeying Allah.) 132 ۞ And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing. 133 who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good; 134 And those who, when they commit an immoral act or wrong themselves, remember Allah and seek forgiveness of their sins and who forgives sins except Allah? And those who do not purposely become stubborn regarding what they did. 135 (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers. 136 There have been many dispensations before you; so travel in the land and see what befell those who denied the truth. 137 This Quran is an exposition for the people and a guidance and admonition for those who fear God. 138 So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith. 139 If there hath befallen you a sore, a sore like thereunto hath already befallen that people. These are the haps that We change about among mankind, that Allah may know those who believe and may take martyrs from among you; and Allah loveth not the wrong doers. 140 And so that Allah may purify* the believers, and destroy the disbelievers. (* Forgive them their sins, if any.) 141 Did you think that you would enter Paradise even though Allah has not yet seen who among you strove hard in His way and remained steadfast? 142 And assuredly ye were wont to long for death ere ye had met it. Now ye are beholding it even while ye are looking on. 143

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
