۞ If a wrong-doer had all that is in the earth he would surely offer it to ransom himself. When the wrong-doers perceive the chastisement, they will feel intense remorse in their hearts. But a judgement shall be made with full justice about them. They shall not be wronged. 54 All that is in the heavens and the earth certainly belongs to God and His promise is true, but many people do not know this. 55 He gives life, and makes to die, and to Him you shall be returned. 56 O men! there has come to you indeed an admonition from your Lord and a healing for what is in the breasts and a guidance and a mercy for the believers. 57 Say: "In the bounty of Allah, and in His Mercy, in that let them rejoice": that is better than the (wealth) they hoard. 58 Ask them, "Have you considered that out of the sustenance which God has given you, you made some of it lawful and some unlawful? Did God permit you to do this or are you ascribing falsehood to Him?" 59 Think how those who invent lies against Him will be treated on the Day of Judgement? Allah is bountiful to men yet most of them do not give thanks. 60
