3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth). 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 Lo! that verily was a clear test. 106 And We rescued him in exchange of a great sacrifice. (The sacrifice of Ibrahim and Ismail peace be upon them is commemorated every year on 10, 11 and 12 Zil Haj). 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
