And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
