And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 Thereupon they will say, “To Allah”; proclaim, “Therefore why do you not ponder?” 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know." 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
