۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
