۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
