The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
