Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
