He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 And ease my task for me; 26 and my tongue fluent 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Harun, my brother. 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 and may remember You much. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 Place him in a chest and throw it into the river, and thereupon the river will cast him ashore, [and] one who is an enemy unto Me and an enemy unto him will adopt him. "And [thus early] I spread Mine Own love over thee - and [this] in order that thou might be formed under Mine eye. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
