۞ O people! You are dependant on Allah; and Allah only is the Independent (Absolute, Not Needing Anything), the Most Praiseworthy. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 this is not a great matter for Allah. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 Not alike are the blind (disbelievers in Islamic Monotheism) and the seeing (believers in Islamic Monotheism). 19 And neither are darkness and brightness! 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 and neither are equal the living and the dead [of heart]. Behold, [O Muhammad,] God can make hear whomever He wills, whereas thou canst not make hear such as are [dead of heart like the dead] in their graves: 22 thou art nothing but a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 If they reject you, (know that) others who lived before them had also rejected their Messengers, Messengers who had brought them miracles, scriptures, and the enlightening Book 25 Then I seized the disbelievers; so how did denial My rejection turn out? 26
