▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then: peace unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
