Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
