And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 Nay, We have conveyed unto them the truth: and yet, behold, they are intent on lying [to themselves]! 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
