Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
YaSeen. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (This is) a Revelation sent down by the AllMighty, the Most Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
