Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 We gave preference to the Israelites over the other people with Our knowledge 32 And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. 33 These men do say, 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We have created them for a genuine purpose, but most people do not know. 39 The Day of Decision is the appointed time for all. 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 42
