Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ By the Day of Resurrection, 1 And by oath of the soul that reproaches itself. 2 Do men think that We shall never be able to assemble their bones? 3 Surely yes, why not? We can properly make all his phalanxes. 4 But man desires to continue in sin. 5 He asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?" 6 But when the sight is dazed 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 That day man will say: "Where can I find escape?" 10 Certainly not! There will be no place of refuge. 11 To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 But lo, man is well aware of himself, 14 even though he may veil himself in excuses. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 So, as We recite it, follow its reading. 18 Then it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear to you, 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 How many faces will be refulgent on that Day, 22 and will be looking towards their Lord; 23 And countenances on that Day shall be scowling. 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 Never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula, 26 and the angels say, "Who will take away his soul, 27 He will then realise it is the parting, 28 and is enwrapped in the pangs of death 29 On that Day you will be driven to your Lord. 30
