In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 created Man of a blood-clot. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One 3 Who taught by the pen - 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious. 6 For he thinks he is sufficient in himself. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 Did you consider: what if he is on the Right Way, 11 or orders piety? 12 What is your opinion – if he denies and turns away, how wretched will be his state! 13 Did he not realise that Allah is watching? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 A forelock that lies, is sinful. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
