Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
