Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
