This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 It was not the devils who brought down the Quran: 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 Have trust in the Majestic and All-merciful God, 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Not so the true believers who do good works and remember God with fervour and defend themselves only after they are wronged. The wrongdoers will soon know how evil a turn their affairs will take. 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
