Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Has the news of the overwhelming event reached you? 1 Some faces will on that Day be downcast, 2 labouring, toilworn, 3 They shall roast into the scalding Fire, 4 that is fueled from a tremendously hot fountain, 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 Which shall neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 In that day other faces will be calm, 8 well-pleased with their striving. 9 In an elevated garden, 10 Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity: 11 therein a running fountain, 12 In which are high thrones. 13 and prepared goblets, 14 Cushions arranged, 15 And carpets spread around. 16 Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created? 17 And the heavens, how it was raised high; 18 how the mountains were hoisted, 19 And at the Earth, how it is spread out? 20 So render good counsel, for you are simply required to counsel, 21 thou canst not compel them [to believe]. 22 But whoever turns back and denies the truth, 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Verily unto Us is their return. 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
