Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
