Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
