۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
