And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
