The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken 4 And the mountains shall be made to crumble with (an awful) crumbling, 5 Turned to dust, floating in the air, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Other than "Peace, peace" the salutation. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and waters gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And couches raised up. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 And made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those of the right hand. 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
