By the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to humankind, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 About the criminals, 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
