The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 The piercing star! 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 Now let man but think from what he is created! 5 He was created of a gushing fluid, 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 And by the Earth which opens out (for the gushing of springs or the sprouting of vegetation),- 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)). 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
