The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 and drowned the others. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
