Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
