And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
