The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 and move [in their orbits] with steady motion, 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 and thus they fulfil the [Creator's] behest! 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 and the second blast follows it, 7 Hearts will pound loudly on that day, 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 They say (now): "What! shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state? 10 When we have become bones decayed! 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 When, behold, they find themselves over the earth alive after their death, 14 Has the story of Moses reached thee? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 'Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent. 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 then he mustered 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. 26

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
