The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The believers must (eventually) win through,- 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 And who keep aloof from what is vain, 3 Who strive for betterment; 4 who guard their privates, 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression, 7 And those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers. 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 These are indeed the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 then We set him, a drop, in a receptacle secure, 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 After that, at length ye will die 15 and then, behold! you shall be raised from the dead on Resurrection Day. 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. 19 Also a tree springing out of Mount Sinai, which produces oil, and relish for those who use it for food. 20 And most surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and you have in them many advantages and of them you eat, 21 And you are carried on them and on the ship. 22
