Allah it is Who has made cattle for you so that you ride some of them and from some of them you derive food. 79 And you have (many other) benefits from them, and that you may reach by their means a desire that is in your breasts (i.e. carry your goods, loads, etc.), and on them and on ships you are carried. 80 Allah shows His Signs to you; then which of Allah's Signs will you deny? 81 Have they not travelled in the land and seen how was the end of those before them who were far more numerous than they and more strong, and have left behind them traces on the earth. And yet nothing of what they did profited them. 82 Then when their apostles came to them with clear arguments, they exulted in what they had with them of knowledge, and there beset them that which they used to mock. 83 So when they saw Our punishment, they said, “We accept faith in the One Allah, and reject those whom we ascribed with Him.” 84 But their faith could not avail them when they saw Our doom. This is Allah's law which hath ever taken course for His bondmen. And then the disbelievers will be ruined. 85
