The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 by the Promised Day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
