And convey unto them the story of Abraham 69 When he said to his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They said, “We worship idols, and we keep squatting in seclusion before them.” 71 'Do they hear you when you call on them' He asked. 72 Do they help or harm you?" 73 They answered: "No; but we found our forefathers doing so." 74 He said, 'And have you considered what you have been serving, 75 You and your ancient forefathers? 76 They are enemies to me except the Lord of all the Worlds 77 Who created me and showed me the way, 78 "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink. 79 and when I fall ill, is the One who restores me to health, 80 "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); 81 and who I am eager shall forgive me my offence on the Day of Doom. 82 "O my Sustainer! Endow me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and make me one with the righteous, 83 And appoint for me an honourable mention among the posterity 84 and make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; 85 and forgive my father, for he is one of those astray. 86 Do not degrade me on the Day when they are resurrected. 87 the Day when nothing will avail, neither wealth nor offspring, 88 But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart." 89 "To the righteous, the Garden will be brought near, 90 And hell will be revealed for the astray. 91 It will be said to them: 'Where is that you worshipped, 92 Instead of Allah? Can they help you or help themselves? 93 And they will be pitched into it, they and the perverse 94 And the soldiers of Iblees, all together. 95 They shall say, as they dispute there one with another, 96 "By God, we were most obviously astray 97 When we made you equal to the Lord of the worlds; 98 No one but the sinners led us astray. 99 Now we have no intercessors, 100 no loyal friend. 101 "'Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'" 102 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 103 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
