Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the swift scatterers 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true. 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 he is turned away from [the truth] who is destined to be so turned away. 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 who flounder in the depths of ignorance. 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 "Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 just as [there are signs thereof] within your own selves: can you not, then, see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
