Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and that hour you are watching 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
