The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
