The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the Sun and his (glorious) splendour; 1 And by oath of the moon when it follows the sun 2 And the day when it revealeth him, 3 By the Night as it conceals it; 4 By the heaven and Who built it, 5 And the earth and Him Who extended it, 6 And the soul and Him Who made it perfect, 7 Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it; 8 He who purifies it will prosper, 9 and failed has he who seduces it. 10 (The tribe of) Thamud denied (the truth) in their rebellious pride, 11 when the most wicked of them broke forth, 12 although God's apostle had told them, "It is a she-camel belonging to God, so let her drink [and do her no harm]!" 13 But they rejected his statement as a lie and hamstrung the she-camel. For that crime their Lord rumbled down upon them, utterly razing them to the ground. 14 and He fears not the issue thereof. 15
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
