The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
